Thank you for Thanksgiving! With my Mum leaving on Monday and some evening grumpies we had a bit of a flustered couple of days. We didn't get around to buying a turkey or a pumpkin pie! So, we were pretty happy to be invited over to our friends' house for Thanksgiving lunch. Brad and Julia had invited us for a casual light lunch - we found out when we got there that Julia had been cooking for over 8 hours and had an amazing spread of food prepared: turkey, mashed potatoes, mac 'n' cheese, beets and cheese, stuffing, gravy and rum cake! Yummmmy!Even better Leona got to hang out with Jack again. The saw each other about two months ago but were fairly indifferent to each other. Now that they have better eyesight and head control they are very interested. Leona reached out towards Jack to grab his hands, his clothes and his squishy cheeks.
And look how cute Leona looks in her pink outfit - thanks Aunty Elena for the nice soft overalls and thanks to Gran for the booties!
