Well it seems my calculations for graduating were out by an entire year so rather than spending a year at home with babanoush I have been doing a crazy dance of baby'ing and PhD'ing. The latest episode is "The nanny": Leona now has a nanny who comes 3-4 afternoons a week so I can get some face time in the lab with my PI and colleagues. Fantastic!
But at least I get to spend every morning with my wee one. And some mornings she is a gorgeous wee thing...
We still take a bit of time to get all our engines fired-up but eventually we're ready for a morning chat.
