The first family vacation!

It was a week of firsts, Leona's first car ride, first time to breath real air, first lake, first hike and our first time to prepare and pack a car for a trip with a baby, this took 3 hours, some yelling, some blood and some baby tears. But after that it was all smiles and the tree hugging even cleared up Leona's skin. We stayed in a rustic barn which had been turned into a house. It was 2 hours upstate in a small town called Kerhonkson which is where our friends have a house that we often stay in. The dog loves it up there he gets to chase deer and get blasted with porcupine spikes.
